Here is the Update

Well, lets see, Jordy is doing great at school and loves it!  So does Mason.  I think he is going to be my doctor of the family.  He really is doing great with writing and remembering things.  Jordy is impressing me everyday.  Sometimes I look at her and can't believe she is my premie.  She is excelling at school so well and really acts so much older.  The other day I asked her, "how do you know that?"  and her response was "mommy, I know everything.  I am five you know."  Gee, I thought that is something I would hear when she is 13!

Work is great. I have three new clients that are really great people to work with.  I have started my Fiction Novel and that is coming along.  I hope to be finished in 2 months and will get published soon after.  I am also working on two other non-fiction with some case study people that have volunteered for me.

Oh, here is a great one.  I broke my foot!!!  Yup, my foot!  I had 3 stress fractures (who me stress?) and now have one full blown fracture.  Eight more weeks of no gym.  Killing me too because I lost 7 pounds at weight watchers with 13 more to go.

Al is, well, Al.  Nothing much there.

Austin is standing up and trying to scoot along the furniture.  Still not much talking, but he has finally cut his top two teeth.  He does have a problem with his tonsils and it looks like they are going to come out soon.  He also has some nasal passage problems, but I don't know what they are going to do about that.  Actually, he has not slept through the night in about......well....9 months.   I am hoping that the tonsil thing will help him with his apnea.

I don't think I am ready.....but Jordy is

Today we had Jordy's orientation for kindergarten. I cried....can you believe it....when the principal started to welcome everyone and ask who the new parents are. I can't believe nor do I want to believe that Jordy is old enough to start kindergarten. I never thought I would see the day with the tough start we had with her. She walked into the classroom and took her seat and didn't look back at me. Good thing because I couldn't hide the tears! I will post a photo of her first day when we get them on Tuesday.

Mason keeps asking if he can go to kindergarten with her. He will be going back to preschool on the 9th. What a big boy he is too!!!

At least I have Austin to hold onto for a little longer!!!

Prima Ballerina

Well Jordy began her dance classes. Here is a picture! She loves it finally. I am supposed to drop her and come back for her, but I find myself not only bored, but worry about her. When she came out of class (different school) 2 years ago, she was crying and did not want to go back. I was so pleased when she came out last week with a huge smile. Of course, her brother Mason wants to go to dance class too.

The girls there were in love with her and said that she reminds them of their top ballet dancers when they first started. She can do the splits and everything! One of the girls that help the class took Jordy's picture with their phone because she was so cute!

I thought so too!!!

Where did the warm weather go?

It is funny.....I thought this was August. We have been enjoying the pool at 90 degrees....those of you that know Al know that I am not exaggerating! Jordyn and Mason are doing great after their swimming lessons. I cannot believe that Jordyn can touch the bottom of the pool already and Mason is pretty close. Let's just hope that it warms up a little before the fall. I remember when Al and I were married in August is must have been 95 degrees!!!

Pool Almost Done

Well, the pool is in and the kids have been swimming. Mamma has been only on the step as the heater is not hooked up yet. That will be done tomorrow. So will the hot tub which is what I am looking forward to tomorrow evening. I will post the new pictures as soon as I get the minute to put them on the computer. The patio will be done in the next month which will help with the mud in the house.

Fee free to stop by to take a dip!

Where does the time go?

Austin is getting sOOOOOO big. I can't believe he is 7 months already. It seems as if the summer is flying by too. Jordy is getting ready for kidergarden this September. I guess we will have to have a Labor Day party to celebrate!

Back from Disney

Back from Disney! We are a little sad to be back, but we plan on going back soon! We took 247 photos, and here are some of them.

We are hoping to go back again, although Al said not this year!! :(

It just feels like our second home. We thought the plane ride would be worse than it was. We actually had people compliment us on the kids behavior both ways!! Who says we are nuts to go with little ones?
